In industrial production,the regulating valve as a control element,is the most common and essential in the field of industrial automation process control.In the development of oil field,screw pump oil production is one of the domestic and foreign oil production methods at present.The screw pump needs to test the displacement and lifting performance before downhole.In order to simulate the outlet pressure of the screw pump in the underground,it needs to install the pressure regulating valve in the performance test bench of the screw pump.The existing pressure regulating valve is unable to meet the test requirements due to the small range of pressure regulation and the range of flow regulation,so we need to design a new pressure regulating valve.The following work is done for a pressure regulating valve designed for the performance test rig of a screw pump:The newly designed pressure regulating valve consists of a valve body,a valve core,a valve plug,a valve cover,an actuator and a shunt valve.The structure of the regulating valve is designed,including the opening shape,the gap coordination and so on,and the pressure is adjusted by adjusting the opening of the valve core.According to the structure of the adjusting valve size of the preliminary design,we use SolidWorks to build 3D model,the internal flow model and simulation calculation with Fluent software,the flow characteristic curve were calculated when the flow rate is 100m3/d,200m3/d,300m3/d internal flow field is calculated,adjust the opening size valve spool of the shape,size and different flow an analysis and optimization.The opening size of the valve core is determined by two times optimization and the actual processing is considered.And the valve two times the optimized calculation of the internal flow simulation,accurately calculate the relationship between pressure and stroke under different flow rate,the calculation results show that the pressure and displacement of approximately linearly,and the pressure adjustment in the range of 0.5-15MPa,flow control in the range of 50-300m3/d,meet the design requirements.The hydraulic cylinder is selected as the executive mechanism,and the hydraulic cylinder is selected reasonably through the calculation and experience design.The relationship between the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder,the pressure of the regulating valve and the stroke of the pressure regulating valve is calculated and finally,the relation table between the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder and the stroke of the pressure regulating valve is obtained,and it can be adjusted according to the table to facilitate the adjustment of the required pressure.
