In recent years, with the worsening of environmental pollution problems, our government has put forward new requirements for flue gas discharge system of thermal power plants system. Lack of experience in flue gas denitrification technology in thermal power plants have resulted in many problems in denitrification process, engineering design, catalyst selection, operating maintenance and post project management, seriously affecting the actual service life of the catalyst, denitrification efficiency, additional operation and replacement costs. In the guidance of the Life Cycle Management, the design of denitrification system in the thermal power plants will meet the requirements of the system denitrification efficiency, save operating costs, and increase business benefit.This paper introduces the concept of Life Cycle Management, especially the concept and calculation method of the core part of the Life-Cycle Cost Management. It analyzes China’s thermal power plant denitration system and its problems, introduces the concept of Life Cycle Management of SCR denitrification system, and the feasibility and necessity of Life Cycle Management of SCR denitrification system. A case study of a thermal power plant in South-west China was given in this paper, and the problems in its management of denitrification system were detailed analyzed. On this basis, the Life Cycle Management theory was introduced into SCR denitrification system management of this plant. And the concrete realization methods of the Life Cycle Management of SCR denitrification system was given from the aspects of general layout, technology system and equipment for the removal of nitrate, power supply, water supply, gas supply, steam supply, and denitrification system of by-products and waste water treatment, denitrification instrumentation and control part of the boiler and flue gas system. The assessments of the cost of the Life Cycle Management of SCR denitrification system showed that the project investment and the system operating cost were greatly reduced, and the benefit was obviously improved. The efficiency and the validity of the Life Cycle Management in SCR denitrification system was verified by triangular fuzzy number analytic hierarchy process. Finally, he benefits of the Life Cycle Management of SCR denitrification system were summarized and analyzed.The research of this paper will play a guiding role in the research and practice of the Life Cycle Management of the SCR power plant denitrification system, and has a strong practical significance.
