In future, the major development of natural gas in Daqing oil field is the deep volcanic reservoir, Xushen gas field. This type of gas reservoir physical property is poor, development only use vertical well, fracturing production of most of the gas, low production per well, poor stable yields, and some well field be difficult to use effectively. There is no experience before for volcanic gas reservoir development application of horizontal well technology is the first time have been used in China. During the multidisciplinary and comprehensive study of the projects the gas reservoir geology, 3D geological modeling, adaptability evaluation of reservoir geological conditions, earthquake and gas reservoir engineering,optimization of 4 Well fields and 8 different types of horizontal wells in volcanic reservoir. Through exploration and research, optimization of the geology routing of the horizontal well in the deep volcanic reservoir, determine the direction of the horizontal section extends to optimize the horizontal section length, and trajectory optimization of horizontal well technology; formation of the horizontal well productivity prediction method suitable for the volcanic gas reservoir heterogeneity;formation productivity evaluation technology of horizontal wells; improve the volcanic gas reservoir geologic steering technique of horizontal wells, through the establishment of the geological interpretation drilling platform of geological steering while drilling horizontal wells to achieve remote real-time in multiple-well geo-steering technique; analysis the main factor of production mechanism and influencing factors of horizontal well; draw up a policy for horizontal well technology development; formed a set of adaptability evaluation of reservoir, three-dimensional geological modeling, horizontal well trajectory optimization design, volcanic gas reservoir development of supporting technology for horizontal wells in productivity prediction and geological steering while drilling technology; for the effective use of gas reservoir has laid a foundation. Compared with the vertical well and horizontal well, technology development with horizontal wells in volcanic gas reservoirs has been a marked increase in yields, is expected to be the main development technology on the improvement of volcanic gas reservoir production per well, effectively control and improve the bottom water reserves, extent of volcanic gas reservoirs.
