Gas drilling technology is a way of using air as a circulation medium to carry out drilling cuttings. It is the most effective technical means to improve the deep drilling speed, prevent leakage and protect reservoir. With the "Xinjiang Daqing" construction of drilling speed is needed, this project aimed at the difficulties of drilling geology, investigated the application of air drilling technology in Tarim oilfield.This paper carried out the evaluation of Tarim Basin, air drilling adaptability, completed the prediction of lithology, formation pressure and bottom bottom fluid output, put forward technical scheme of air drilling.Bo Zi 102 well after three open use air drilling, combining the theory and practice, the following results were achieved:(1) 2502 ~ 2602 m interval water permeability and shale content high interval, the interval sticking falling risk is bigger, and mechanics with borehole wall instability, borehole ellipse characteristics is very obvious, mainly in the minimum principal stress direction collapse impellers.(2)Supporting 400 m3, 25 mpa form a complete set of equipment, gas injection can significantly increase the "deep Wells, large hole wellbore purification and the ability to handle complex.(3) The rock bit + Bending sub + Double rotary assembly, drilling pressure is less than 1 ton,speed 55 rpm is the gravel layer of air drilling effective control of inclination BHA and drilling parameters.(4) Continuous circulation system to realize the continuous circulation drilling conditions. The efficiency and lower the risk tripping, inclinometer can smoothly through the continuous cycle short, measuring slant avoid drill, increasing aging.
