Well Trajectory Design And Control Of 2D-5 Deep Horizontal Well

As comprehensive techniques, drilling deep horizontal well is used in deep hole and in mature oil field. It is a new technology in drilling well. In order to develop the 2D-5 block which is embedded deep depth,and can not be developed with normal vertical drilling technology, deep horizontal well drilling technology is researched and applied. When we analysis the geology case and the data of conterminous well, we can study the well bore configuration and the feature of well bore profile in deep horizontal hole,we proposal the difficulties in designing and trajectory controlling, optimize one project which is applicable to the 2D-5 deep horizontal well from several projects. This paper also optimize BHA after studying the building rate of the deflecting tools and their whipstock theory. We develop an advisable control program in order to remove the influences in hole azimuth. The ESS, MWD, and LWD using in trajectory controlling, which both saving cost and forecasting the place of bit. This paper established the drilling technique in deep horizontal well, and used it to guide the same type well in the future.
