Horizontal connected well (U Well) technology is a special technology of the directional well technologies, the advantage of horizontal connected well is really obvious.especially efficent in some special wells like coalbed methane and underground soluble mineral wells, etc. Horizontal connected well has the characteristics of wide supply range, high indivisual well production rate and recovery degree. But during the control of the connected wells, we always face some problems which will effect the quality of trajectory and makes it difficult to reach the connect point or even fail to connect. So it’s really meaningful to qualify the fine control method of horizontal connected well and give out a efficient modular method for horizontal connected well drilling.Researched related literatures about trajectory designing and controling at home and abroad, then finished the following researches which combined with the characteristics of horizontal connected well, focused on trajectory designing and controling, by the means of bottom hole assembly (BHA) build-up rate analysis and trajectory predicting methods, in order to improve the quality of trajectory controling:(1)Through a lot of literature research and analysis, summarized and sorted out the the wellbore trajectory design model, and elaborate a general model of two-dimensional and three-dimensional wellpath design, then put forward the horizontal connected wellpath to optimize the design model, and gives its solution method.(2)Combing with geometrical BHA build-up rate method to analysis the duild-up ability of BHA, to provide the basis to optimize the BHA build-up ability on well site.(3)Combing with the BHA drilling trend prediction model to duild the method of predicting the BHA drilling trend which will provide the basis to control the trajectory.(4)Unite the tracjectory design and drilling trend prediction method to optimize the controling technology of horizontal connected well and focus on RMRS technology.(5)Form a solution of horizontal connected well controling and analysis the result of field application.Through the study of this article, basicaly formed the horizental connected well design method and the basis of optimizing the BHA before drilling, trajectory prediction techonology and RMRS technology while drilling.Through the comparing of2different wells, formed horizontal connected well trajectory patterned control method.
