In order to solve the problem of cross infection of medical devices, functional coatings shouled be prepared which can not only improve the hydrophobic performance but also inhibit the formation of biofilm. Waterproof and anti-oil amphiphobic films were used widely on the solid surface such as liquid crystal display, mobile phone screen. Therefore, composite films with hydrophobic and antibacterial properties were prepared by electron beam deposition (EBD) method in the paper, which was based on the hydrophobicity of PTFE and antibacterial property of nano-silver. Amphiphobic paraffin/PTFE composite films with low surface energy were prepared by EBD method, which was based on the hydrophobic property of PTFE and paraffin material. When the experiment choosed AgCl/PTFE, AgNO3/PTFE at the mass ratio of 1:1 as the target, Ag doped PTFE metal-polymer films were deposited by EBD method on quartz, silicon, PMMA substrate and aluminized polyester film with the thickness of about 490nm. The results showed that the composite film deposited by AgCl/PTFE target displayed better antibacterial property, which contained C=C、C-C、C-CFn、C-F、AgF2、AgCl、silver and so on. The thin film showed superior antibacterial effect against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. When the experiment choosed AgCl/PANI at the mass ratio of 1:1 as a target, Ag doped PANI composite films were deposited by EBD on quartz, silicon, PMMA substrate and aluminized polyester film with the thickness of about 1.33um. The composite film displayed obvious antibacterial property against Staphylococcus aureus. When the experiment choosed paraffin/PTFE at different mass ratio as the target, paraffin/PTFE thin films were deposited by EBD on quartz, silicon and aluminized polyester film. When the target ratio was 4:1, the contact angles against deionized water, ethylene glycol and glycerol were 152°,130° and 142° separately for films deposited on the silicon substrate, which indicated that the film owned excellent superhydrophobic and oleophobic properties. On the other hand, the contact angles of films deposited on quartz substrate against deionized water, ethylene glycol and glycerin were 170°,146° and 149° separately, which indicated the film was superhydrophobic and oleophobic, which showed bigger contact angles duing to the bigger roughness.
