With the continuous exploitation of crude oil, the pressure of the underground reservoir is becoming lower and lower. In order to prevent the situation that no oil comes from oil well due to insufficient pressure, high pressure water injection technology has been adopted to increase the reservoir pressure in China. Because of this, the water content of the crude oil is higher and higher, and the cost of crude oil development has increased. In order to monitor the situation of oil in real-time, the study, by researching the separation technology of crude oil, designs a small-sized three-phase separator system for oil well field, which is intelligent, miniaturized, easy to migrate and can detect it in real-time.Media sensor is the core component of small-sized separator control system, By analyzing and comparing common measurement methods of crude oil water content, the study adopts the capacitance method to save more cost. As crude oil is viscous, the media sensor is designed with a double parallel plate structure, and insulated by 3D printing technology. Peripheral processing circuits of media sensor is designed based on CAV444 integrated chip, and a magnetic stirrer and pure oil, water and other laboratory equipment are used to study the media sensors. Experimental studies have shown that the sensor has high sensitivity and good repeatability and consistency. The control circuit includes temperature and pressure data acquisition and processing circuits, both are based on a signal processing circuit with a RCV420 integrated chip. Servo motor control system is used to control corrugated screen motion. Meanwhile, an alarm system, a JTAG debugger, and an electromagnetic relay module are designed. Based on C8051F340 with A/D converter, the study programs the data collected on 1 and 6 channel, and uploads it to the computer program. Finally, it debugs the entire control system by using a simple small-sized separator, and shows that the overall control system of the three-phase separator is feasible.
