Welded component is one of the important components in mechanical production,since the welding residual stress will appear in the welding process,so it appears deformation, fracture or local failure.So it is necessary to eliminate the residual stress.Thermal aging technology has been mature,however, due to high energy consumption, low efficiency, more emissions, are being replaced with energy saving, environmental protection, high efficiency and low cost advantages of vibration aging.But the vibration aging technology has not been accepted by the countries all over the world,it is mainly because of the technical parameters of the vibration aging has certain difficulty deciding.Especially for the welded members with high stiffness which its low order natural frequency beyond 100 Hz,as the excitation frequency is beyond the frequency range of the common vibration aging machine,vibration aging technology is not yet available for the effective treatment.In this paper, the welded members with high stiffness are regarded as the research object,the theoretical basis and the technical method of the vibration aging technology with high stiffness welded components are discussed.Based on the vibration theory,it analysises the main factors which affect the natural frequency of welded components,proposing adjusting the quality factor ofhe welded members with high stiffness by adding appropriate mass, in order to reduce its natural frequency, through the finite element harmonic response analysis method again,it is a new set of new methods to calculate the added mass of the low order natural frequency of the high stiffness welding component to 100 Hz, added mass vibration aging method.And the first order natural frequency of carding machine doffer 339.08 Hz for the tested specimens.By adding mass,the low order natural frequency is adjusted from 351.39 Hzto 48.69 Hz,its vibration aging treatment does with a conventional mechanical eccentric vibration aging machine,the blind hole method of residual vibration aging test before and after stress.Results show,the maximum principal stress of the metal cylinder with high rigidity is decreased by 34.66%, and the mean value is reduced by69.84%.It is found that the added mass vibration aging method can effectively reduce the residual stress of the welded components with high stiffness,finite element method of harmonic response analysis can be used to optimize the technical parameters of vibration aging.
