A series of organic salts were synthesized based on 1,5-naphthalene-disulfonic acid and 2,6-naphthalene disulfonate. The research is carried out to find phase transition compounds and ferroelectric compounds.1. Seven compounds based on 1,5-naphthalene-disulfonic acid and organic amine have been synthesized and characterized by crystal structures and dielectric properties, [(C6H14N)]2·[1,5-CioH6(SO32] (1), [(C5H12N)]2·[1,5-C10H6(SO32]·H2O (2), [(C8H18N)]·[1,5-CioH6(SO32] (3), [(C8Hi8N)]2·[1,5-CioH6(S032]·H2O (4), [(C8H12N)]2·[1,5-CioH6(SO32]·H2O (5), [(C14H16N)]2·[1,5-Ci0H6(SO32] (6), [(C9H14NO)]2·[1,5-C10H6(SO32]·H2O (7). Differential scanning calorimetry analysis shows that 1 and 6 undergo the structural phase transitions at 149K and 188K, respectively. They have obvious dielectric anomalies with dielectric relaxation phenomena. Relative torsions of the molecules may be responsible for the occurrence of structural phase transitions.2. Five compounds based on 2,6-naphthalene disulfonate and organic amine were synthesized and characterized by crystal structures and dielectric properties, [(C6H14N)]2·[2,6-C10H6(SO32]H2O (8), [(C7H16N)]2·[2,6-C10H6(SO32] (9), [(C8Hi8N)2]2·[2,6-C10H6(SO32] (10), [(C8H12N)]2·[2,6-C10H6(SO32] (11), [(C8H12NO)]2·[2,6-C10H6(SO32] (12). There were no dielectric anomalies and structural phase transitions.
