After the incident of Shanghai Bund, the national tourism administration responded immediately, in January 2015 issued the" Guidelines for the maximum bearing capacity of the scenic spot". The guide asked the scenic spots to perfect the related system, establish and improve the scenic tourist flow control mechanism as soon as possible. As an important part of tourism scenic spots, Jiangnan classical private garden also has the problem of environmental carrying capacity. But the number of researches which are from the perspective of tourism environmental carrying capacity is very little. From above, we can see that whether from the point of national policy or the research status, it is urgent to conduct the study of tourism environmental carrying capacity of Jiangnan classical private garden.
