As people can’t live without textile, the fire spreaded by ignited textiles which lacking in flame resistance performance has accounted for a considerable proportion, seriously threatening to people’s lives and properties. Therefore, the flame retardant technology of textiles has brought to the attention of the people. With the development of modern science and technology and people’s living conditions improved the call for intensed functional requirements of textile products in daily life has increased. Meanwhile, the finishing agents of textile are moving in multifunctional direction. Therefore, the design and synthesis of molecules with flame retardant properties, or combined flame retardant, water- and oil-repellent properities is a very meaningful work.In this thesis, spirocyclic diphosphoryl chloride was synthesized starting from phosphorus oxychloride and pentaerythritol. Then diallyl phosphoramide TM1 was prepared after attempts of spirocyclic diphosphoryl chloride with a number types of amines. Meanwhile, TM2 was synthesized by diethyl chlorophosphate and aniline while TM3 was synthesized by diethyl chlorophosphate and para-phenylene diamine. The structures of TM1, TM2 and TM3 were characterized by 1H NMR、13C NMR、 31 P NMR、FT-IR and HRMS. The flame resistant results showed that the LOI values of TM1, TM2 and TM3 were up to 28.0%, 29.7% and 31.2% respectively indicating that these compounds had flame retardancy property.Synthesis of compounds with both flame retardant and water-repellent and oil-repellent properities was our research goal. Compounds 11 and 13 between TM1 and tridecafluorohexyl iodide were gained through the free radical solution polymerization using AIBN as an initiator. Then phosphamides TM4 and TM5 containing perfluorohexyl were gained through the reduction by tributyltin hydride. The structures of these compounds have been characterized by1 H NMR、13C NMR、19F NMR、 31 P NMR、FT-IR and HRMS. The properities results of these compounds on the surface cotton fabric showed that TM4 containing double fluoroalkyl chains had a good oil-repellent properties and the contact angles of grade three oil reached 136° while it had no water repellency performance. However, TM5 containing single fluoroalkyl chain had good water and oil-repellent property and the contact angles of water and grade three oil reached up to 147° and 134°respectively. These two compounds showed certain flame retardant property improving the LOI value of cotton fabrics from 18.5% to 24.0%.
