| The structural design of the mold is a critical design activity in the early stage of the entire mold’s life cycle, which turns the abstract fuzzy design concept into the concrete physical structure.To achieve the systematic innovative design of mold structure, conceptual design should be the starting point and the program innovation in concept phase is high degree of originality.To achieve innovation, method is the key. In systematic design process of the die structure, the design theory of inventing and solving problem,axiomatic design, Pahl, Beitz,expansion of quality function and so on are more applicable. To give a full play to the guide, inspiration, cooperation and promotion of systematic theory in the design of die structure, this paper refers to the domestic and foreign advanced models, methods and successful practice experience of TRIZ application. Combining with the domestic development of die design, taking TRIZ as the main line and integrating axiomatic design(AD) in US, comprehensive design methodology(P&B) in Germany, Kano model in Japan and quality function arrangement(QFD) tools, this paper proposes a systematic design method of stamping die structure which is innovative and integrating various methods, breaking the previous design process based on the experience to improve the innovation efficiency, innovation success rate and independent innovation capability of the stamping die structure industry.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Stamping die design Overview. Understanding the development and design method of molds and analyzing the research status and design method of stamping die mold by studying a large number of mold-related literature, this paper concludes the design method and deficiency of current mold structure.(2) The establishment of the design process model. Studying principles and processes of variety of innovative design theory and combining with the design process of stamping die mold, this paper determines the feasibility of applying various methods in different design stages of die structure design,proposes systematic design process of die structure fusing various methods and establishes model.(3) Contents of the model. The model is divided into three parts: user requirements analysis process model, requirement-function conversion model, function-structured process model. The demand of mold design requirements process is eventually transformed to the demands of mold designer from product components and mold user’s demand. Then with the technology evolution route, determining the mold’s development direction is excited demand. With the help of QFD house quality, the transformation of user requirements to functional requirements are achieved judging the relevance of technical measures of house quality. If it is a negative correlation, then TRIZ can be used to solve conflict. Ultimately,the transformation of user requirements and function can be achieved. Based on the conversion of AD functional structure, this paper sorts out and analyzes the functional requirements of the mold, then function is decomposed. On the basis of the transformation from function to structure of AD model, the structure of the mold can be verified, then determining whether which meets the independence axiom. If it is not satisfied, TRIZ can be used to solve the coupling problem, eventually evaluating all the determined schemes.(4) Examples of verification. Verifying the formed systematic design process model by a part of stamping product to determine its feasibility. |
