Chamfering machine is important processing equipment on surface of the steel pipe, andthe work performance directly affected the quality of end fittings and product positioning.Especially chamfering for the steel tube of large diameter and big thick wall, existingchamfering machine can’t guarantee the machining precision and quality for the process pipe,at the same time chamfering machine is large and takes up the big space, and processingefficiency can not also meet the needs of high quality steel. It is particularly important tomake the creative design research on structure.This article mainly focuses on creative design on structure. First, reasonable processstructure and process methods are chosen according to cutting processing forms, the structurerealizes radial motion and rotation movement of the milling cutter in a power source, Second,basing on the calculation and analysis on the milling structure, continuously variabletransmission and worm gear. The organization processing method is rational, according torelevant calculated parameters results and actual production demands.In the design of the mechanism on the paper, pipe can be continuous processed bycontinuously variable transmission when pipe specifications changes, and it puts up theproductivity; the demand of reducing the speed is realized by worm gear, especially the speedon the knife dish. at the same time agencies are also relatively simplified.
