Outburst prediction and prevention is of great significance in the outburst prevention, because coal and gas outburst disaster is serious in our country. This paper regards Ⅱ1 coal seam as the research object to predict its outburst hazard in Yonglong Jinxin(Dengfeng) Coal Industry Co., Ltd. Through analyzing influencing factors that cause coal and gas outburst, combined with the cause of outburst occurred in Guhanshan coal mine, Pingyu 4th coal mine, Pingdingshan 10 th coal mine and Hebi 6th coal mine, this paper obtains the common reason in stope face. It’s not clear about coal seam gas preservation law, structure information of the coal body in front of the working face, and effect of outburst prevention measures, plus working disturbance induces outburst. Except that, this paper summarizes common factors from the point of indexes for above-mentioned outburst accident happened. These factors are high gas pressure and content of coal seam, low strength of coal mass, high speed of methane desorption, serious failure of coal body, bad permeability of coal seam, high comprehensive index K value of outburst prediction. Measure coal seam basic parameters in Jinxin coal mine, Conduct comparative analysis from the point of above-mentioned factors between Jinxin coal mine and outburst mine. On this basis. this paper judges that Jinxin coal mine Ⅱ1 coal seam has outburst risk, combined with the borehole spray during parameters determination. Combined with above-mentioned outburst common reasons, this paper takes homologous outburst prevention measures and selects residual gas content of coal seam as an effect test index of outburst prevention measures. It finally concludes the relationship between the gas content and pressure. It is W ?0.743 ln P ?6.9645. The critical value of gas content is 6.58m3/t if gas pressure is 0.6MPa for the residual gas pressure. In order to ensure safety in production, using the experience of adjacent coal mine, the critical value of effect test index gas content is defined as 6 m3/t.
