The natural gas form oilfield gaswells generally contain saturated water vapor, and will form gas hydrate sometimes, which would cause difficulties for the transport and processing of natural gas. In order to make transportation of natural gas in pipelines and processing to meet certain quality requirements in accordance with the water dew point indicators, or water content, it must be dewatered. Dehydration of natural gas is the removal of water vapor in the natural gas and makes the dew point to certain requirements. The difference of dew point between moisture and dry gas is called dew drop, which is used to indicate the depth of natural gas dehydration. The most commonly methods of natural gas dehydration includes frozen natural gas dehydration separation, solvent absorption, solid desiccant adsorption and che mical reaction method. The solvent absorption method and the solid desiccant adsorption are widely used, and the volumetric absorption TEG is the most commonly used method in the country. The TEG dehydration of natural gas with different CO2 content was carried out by simulation and experiment. The dehydration effects were studied by the CO2 solubility in triethylene glycol, simulation and experiment results of gas dehydration, and life span of triethylene glycol.
