The bioactive Indole compounds are widely exist in nature and plays a very important role in people’s daily life. Especially the 2-indolinone compound with biological activity constitutes the central structure of many natural products. The study of the 2-indolinone compound has been a very active area in chemical research due to their Biological activity. It an effective method to build C-C and C-N by coupling. Therefore, we use the method of C-C and C-N cross coupling reactions to efficient synthesis of 2- indolinone compounds.In the first chapter: Introducts the synthesis of the 3-substituted-3-hydroxy-2-indolinone in recent years, The research progress of C-C and C-N cross-coupling of 2-indolinone were summarized briefly.In the second chapter: A simple and efficient way for the cross-coupling of indolinones with ketones by using TEMPO/Cu in air as oxidant has been developed. This reaction is simple operation, and better regional selectivity and environmental protection.In the thrid chapter: a a Zn activated the C3 position of 2-indolinone compound, and C-C and C-N cross-coupling reaction with I2 as oxidant. This method provides a new way to forming a quaternary carbon center at the C3 position of indolinones.In the fourth chapter: Conclusion.
