Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber(UHMWPE) is one of the world’s highest strength and specific modulus fibers currently, due to its good properties, the specialty fibers more and more applied to all walks of life. Compared with the traditional gel spinning process, the melt spinning process of this paper is the first production of special fiber production line at home and abroad. After spinning process has seven roll wire feeder, first-level draft hot box, first-level draft seven roller, second-level draft hot box, second-level draft seven roller, third-level draft hot box, third-level draft seven roller and other equipments. Risk assessment for the special fiber after spinning process and reliability analysis for control systems can not only to ensure the safe and stable operation of the production line, the prevention of accidents, but also can improve production efficiency and ensure product quality, has important theoretical and practical value.GAHP is a method combined of AHP and interval gray whitening treatment, the article will be based on the analysis of dangerous factors of after spinning process, using GAHP to the quantitative risk assessment of after spinning process, determine the safety evaluation index system, obtain the weight of each evaluation index and the security level of after pinning process.According to the safety requirements of after spinning and the design criteria, design the corresponding Safety Protection System, including measures of hardware and software measures. Hardware measures mainly carries on the foot switch design, emergency stop series design, equipment safety protection design and safety and signal reliability protection design, etc; software measures mainly integrated security alarm into the control system,write security features procedures, design security alarm interface, etc.Finally, for each unit and the overall reliability of the control system were analyzed. When analysis each unit of control system, will be according to the live operation of control system, take a comparative analysis between safety precautions before and safety precautions after for the reliability of each unit; while the overall reliability analysis of the control system, set up Markov model of the control system,calculate the probability of the state and use the software matlab calculation and graphics capabilities, it is concluded that the reliability of the control system and its change rule.The risk assessment and reliability analysis of control system shows that the risk level of the process is a regular and the control system has good reliability.
