As a new kind of composite, 3D carbon fiber tubular composite use 3D tubular fabric as reinforcement, structure is relatively tight, delamination tend not to appear, the whole performance is more excellent. So this kind of material is more and more popular in many fields as automotive filed, aerospace and field of sports equipment. But the existing preparation process of 3D carbon fiber tubular composite has big defects and the key reason is that the adaptive ability of the cylindrical mould for producing the 3D tubular composite is poor.So, the project focuses on researching of the mould with variable diameter, the diameter of which can be be adjusted according to the diameter of the fabric. The work includes analyzing of the mould diameter changing principle, the designing of the mould, optimization of the mould and application of the mould. Below are major attributions:1. Analyze functional requirements of the mould in detail according to analyzing the existing preparation process of 3D carbon fiber tubular composite.2. Determine the mould diameter changing principle and general design scheme according to analyzing variable diameter mechanism and micro mechanism, design three schemes and choose one of them through comparison, determine material and detailed parameters of the mould, do calculation and motion simulation.3. According to each problem occurred in process of processing, manufacturing and assembly of the mould, put forward the corresponding solutions.4. Take 3D carbon fiber tubular composite with a diameter of 45 mm for example, do research of application of the mould, put forward a new kind of preparation process of 3D carbon fiber tubular composite which use the mould.
