Pure cotton knitted fabric especially dark fabric in the process of repeatedly washing, the hair iness on the cloth will be increased and bone prominent position will appear partial color frosting, and have old feeling, which affected the overall appearance of textile s ignif icantly, and seriously affected the grade of the darker cotton fabric. In order to solve the technical problems, dark cotton fabric after repeated washing was studied which will improve the quality of color change and color frosting.Firstly, the analysis of the reason of cotton knitted fabrics after repeated washing and the grinding the frosting color is carried out, the experiments were carried out to verify the results. In order to provide the basis for more targeted solutions. Analytical index are used in the experiment. For example, SEM, ?E, K/S value, the rate of change of K/S before washing and after washing, fabric dry and wet rubbing fastness, washing fastness, wear-resisting discoloration grade and the macroscopic observation of the human eye. Using water polyurethane, reaction silicone resin, cross-linking agent and their mixtures to reduce the fibrillated of cotton, Obtained the method to reduce the discoloration of cotton knitted fabric and to reduce color frosting after repeated washing. In the analysis of causes of discoloration and color frosting, we find is the common external mechanical force and detergent caused the fiber fibril and color fade. The external mechanical friction on fiber fibril plays the major role, when addded detergent fibrillated fiber fade more serious, appear obvious pale and color frosting. In the experiment of screening waterborne polyurethane, it is RU01’ K/S changes of-4.74% rate minimum, absolute value less than the absolute value of the blank sample-11.09%, closest to zero. So it is RU01 reduce discoloration and color frosting effect best. And when observed by the human eye, the degree of RU01 is the smallest too. In silicone screening experiments, from the analysis of rate of K/S change, is the reactive organically XQS-1 and a polysemous NWA resistant to washing 10 times is best. when there two washing 20 times, it is XQS-1’s rate of K/S change was the smallest, and the rate is-4.73%. In the color test, the XQS-1’s color change MAX Delta(delta E) is 0.59 reach the minimum, better than the blank sample 0.75. When human eye assessment the color frosting, it is XQS-1’ bone white lightest. So the XQS-1 with reactive group is the best. In the screening experiment of the crosslinking agent, after increasing the crosslinking, the rate of change of K/S was reduced, and the color frosting was reduced, so the color durability is good. In the selection of resin crosslinking agent, From the k/s change rate we know, it is FECO in 2D resin is the lowest. In the comprehensive experiment of the above three kinds of finishing agents, when use of RU01 compound the crosslinking agent ML and XQS-1, the best formula was the 10% dosage of the crosslinking agent for RU01 when the amount of 200g/l was used. When ues of the Nano PU compound FECO in 2D resin and XQS-1, when Nano PU ratio FECO is 50:150, Test results can both have polyurethane’s high strength and crosslinking agent’s highly crosslink, color durability is good, K/S change rate is minimum, but strength is slightly worse. In summary, to consider all the results of this research, it is comprehensive application of the above three kinds of finishing agents is good. And the best technological formula is waterborne polyurethane RU01 200g/l compound the crosslinking agent ML 10% and XQS-1 can make the fabric have best performance and advantages.
