Estimate And Analysis Of Economic Losses Of Environmental Pollutants In Hebei Province

In recent years, GDP in Hebei Province has increased rapidly, urbanization process is continually accelerating, and the transformation and upgrading of industry has made some achievements, however, environmental pollution is still a barrier in the process of realizing the sustainable development. The serious air pollution in the past two years has become an urgent problem which need to be solved. Only after fully realizing the essence of the environmental pollutants and analyzing its economic losses, can we come up with the effective measures to prevent and control this problem, and then realize the harmonious coexistence between environment protection and economic development.Firstly, this paper introduces the related concepts of environmental pollutants, describes the connotation and classification of its economic losses, also summarizes the methods for estimating the environmental losses. And then the current situation of air pollution, water pollution and solid waste pollution in Hebei Province are analyzed. All of them provide theory and practical basis for process of estimation.Secondly, after taking the related research methods and practical experience of domestic and foreign scholars for reference, this paper has established an evaluation index system of environmental losses of Hebei. Then the corresponding technical methods are selected according to the characteristics of different indicators, by means of these methods, this paper has a separate calculation of different economic losses of air pollutants, water pollutants and solid waste pollutants,and provides a summary of these calculation results.Thirdly, based on comparative analysis, this paper analyses the trend and structure respectively about the different environmental losses, and finds out their causes.Finally, in order to prevent and control environmental pollution, and also achieve sustainable development, combined with the current situation and the causes of environmental pollution in Hebei Province, this paper puts forward the corresponding suggestions from three aspects respectively.
