With the development of industrial technology, steel correspondingly more and more popular. Since the material in the process of production and processing, the local area will produce uneven plastic deformation caused by stress. The existence of stress and defects is very dangerous and could lead to accidents. Therefore, the steel security issues more and more attention. The detection of the steel sheet is generally used to detect the destructive sampling mode, this paper studies several cases on steel elastic waves, analyze the impact of various factors on the presence of elastic waves. We expect to establish a certain function in the factors and the elastic wave parameters to achieve the detection of steel sheet.With the help of the wave equation to establish homogeneous medium elastic wave forward modeling of elastic wave propagation obtained during displacement, stress and strain changes. Simulation of elastic waves in a homogeneous medium, morphological analysis of the propagation of elastic waves in the steel sheet. On this basis, the Q345 steel under stress conditions, different temperatures(50-500℃) finite element simulation and analysis at the hole and crack defects. Observing and analyzing changes in stress,displacement, amplitude, frequency, velocity, attenuation coefficient and other parameters.Through comparative analysis of the simulation results obtained: the existence of local stress, temperature and defects of elastic waves will have different impacts on the steel plate. This has a certain reference value for us to reverse the elastic wave parameters analyzed by the detector plate stress, temperature and defects. The results of simulation provide a reference for subsequent detection and early warning of ferrous materials.
