The Glass Loading Machine is one kind of equipment which is quite widely applied in the glass industry. It plays a very important role in the glass production and processing industry, and it is a typical Mechatronics technology used in reality application. The Mechatronics is the inevitable trend of machinery development, and the Mechatronics product development always is a quite difficult process. Along with the development of computer technology, the computer-aided design enhanced the product optimization and the development efficiency of Mechatronics. This dissertation use the glass loading machine as the object of study, to optimize the defects and problems of glass loading machine, and attempts the new method for the simulation of Mechatronics product. The specific works are as follows:1. Through the observation and measurement to the worksite, to get the basic data of the glass loading machine; and to provide the model foundation for the following research, to build the virtual model through the SolidWorks software,.2. The flip mechanism is the most important of the glass loading machine mechanism. The flip mechanism was simplified to carry on the kinematic analysis used the MATLAB. Compared with the kinetic characteristic of two kinds of flip mechanism, then we choose the double-rocker mechanism as the mechanism model of the flip mechanism,because it is of more stable motion characteristics.3. Use the actual movement condition and the operation requests as the constraint, Motion trajectory was determined primarily. With the method of the rigid body guidance mechanism to optimize the double-rocker mechanism, then the basic sizes of the double-rocker mechanism were determined. Based on this, we carry on the movement analysis with ADAMS. To enhance the movement stability of the flip mechanism of the glass loading machine, we optimize the control mode and put forward the ideal way of controlling.4. Using the AMESim software as a mechatronics simulation platform, the system model of the glass loading machine is built. After seted the parameter using the above optimization size and control mode, the co-simulation was carried on. The optimum effect was checked because the simulation shows that the mechanism has more stable motion characteristics.The research indicates that the glass loading machine will have a better stationarity using the double-rocker mechanism as the flip mechanism.The ideal control mode after optimized has some errors because of the Installation error, Connection error and Energy transfer losses ect., but it conforms to the optimized conception, so we need the further optimization. In order to achieve more desirable kinematics characteristics, using AMESim as the mechanical and electrical co-simulation tool will have very extensive significance, because it can improve the efficiency of development of mechatronic products. the optimization research must further be conducted to make the optimization results to conform to reality further.
