Significant concern has been caused to the field of the transition-metal coordination polymers for more and more researchers, on account of their charming topological structures and potential applications in all sorts of domains, including molecular electronics, adsorption and optical optics, and so on. And the selection of befitting organic ligands are crucial for ideal coordination polymers. Among them, flexible organic ligands can rotate or bend to employ the advisable configuration when coordinating to the transition-metal centers, which often cause structural diversities. Isoquinoline and edta4- are selected as perfect ligands for their flexible coordination mode in the present thesis. The main research contents are as following:Firstly, five new metal-organic coordination polymers, [Zn(C9NH?)4(SCN)2] (1), [Cd(C9NH7)4(SCN)2] (2), [Zn(C9NH7)2(SCN)2] (3), [Mo8O26](C9H7NH)4(C9H7N)2 (4) and [(Mo8O26)(C9H7N)2](C9H7NH)4-2(H2O) (5) have been synthesized under hydrothermal reactions based on isoquinoline ligands. Meanwhile, the crystal structures of the coordination polymers were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The results demonstrate that flexible pH value play a vital role in the formation of the final structures, and provided us with ideas and guidance in our later work.Secondly, three new metal-organic coordination polymers, Cd2(edta)-H2O (6), [Pb2(edta)(H20)o.76]n (7) and [Mn(edta)][Ca(H2O)]-H2O (8) were prepared by edta4-ligand under hydrothermal reactions. And the crystal structures of the coordination polymers were demonstrate by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, the luminescent properties of the compound Cd2(edta)-H2O (6) have been discussed as well. Additionally, on account of its preferable fluorescence, the title complex Cd2(edta)-H2O is consider as a good candidate for blue photo-luminescent materials.
