SAGD super heavy oil produced water is very difficult to recovery, which has high concentration suspended solids. And there has many impurities in the water which lead to its seriously emulsification situation. Most of the suspended solids in super heavy oil produced water are organic ingredients, and they are not the mechanical impurities as we usually think. They are difficult emulsion break. At high temperatures, the demulsifier can change the solids’ quality from hydrophilic to lipophilic, so we can separate the solids by separating the super heavy oil form water at high temperatures.Based on the summary and research of the super heavy oil sewage common separation technology, combined with laboratory hydrocyclone device, the paper proposes a new technology to treat the suspended solids. It combines high-temperature thermo-chemical emulsion breaking technology with separating the oil by hydrocyclone.In the experiment, the sewage system and super heavy oil’s "density- temperature", "viscosity- temperature" were determined, and the suspended solids’ concentration, density, particle size distribution, and composition were analyzed. As the result, the Gudao crude oil is selected as the alternative in the normal temperature separation by hydrocyclone. By changing the structural parameters such as the overflow hole diameter, number of blades, cone angle, the length of end section and the operating parameters such as the flow rate, split rate, and the entrance oil content, we draw the best structural parameters and operating parameters of the hydrocyclone.At high temperature by changing the content of drugs, the flow rate, the split rate, and the treat temperature, we can see the changes in efficiency by different pavements. We finally propose a pretreatment program to treat the suspended solids in the super heavy oil produced water.The topic for the study can lay a foundation for future research and provide theoretical guidance to the real practice.
