Our group has been carried out the research of organic synthesis in green chemistry. β-Cyclodextrin is inexpensive, easily available, nontoxic, metabolizable. In this thesis, the application of β-cyclodextrin and β-cyclodextrin sulfonic acid in MCRs were studied. This thesis includes the following aspects:1. A simple, inexpensive and efficient one-pot synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives with excellent product yields from aldehyde, acetylacetic ester, ammonium acetate and dimedone(or 1,3-cyclohexadienone) under solvent-free condition using catalytic amount of β-Cyclodextrin were studied.2. Alcohols instead of aldehydes were used in the β-CD/NBS oxidizing system.The 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones were obtained in good yields from MCRs of alcohols, aromatic amine(or ammonium acetate), and isatoic anhydride in water. This tandem processes is initiated by an oxidation reaction.3. β-Cyclodextrin sulfonic acid assisted convenient and efficient strategy for the preparation of 2H-indazolo[2,1-b] phthalazine-triones derivatives from aromatic aldehydes, phthalhydrazide and dimedone(or 1,3-cyclohexadienone) under solvent-free is described. The catalyst can be recovered and reused for at least 3 runs without any significant impact on the yields of the products.
