Large structure’s ripple line fillet seams have a wide range of applications in containers, trains, metros and LRTs of boxes, ships and other fields, using high speed MAG welding to connect in the manufacturing process. There are several problems in high speed MAG welding process of large structure’s ripple line fillet seams:(1) Under the influence of the corrugated plate and the base plate in the manufacturing, assemblying and other factors, the weld of three-dimensional track and weld width changed irregularly.(2) The current weld of three-dimensional track and weld width will be changed in welding process by the influence of heat input.(3) Most of people using a stable welding parameters in welding process that the weld width irregularly changes(0-4mm), weld over-filled up or weld wear phenomenon will occur, and welding quality is difficult to be guaranteed.For these problems, based on the study of our research team, this paper researched about Visual Guide of Large Structure’s Ripple Line Fillet Seams of Automation Welding’s Information System. The main works are as follows:Firstly, this paper introduced the design of Visual Guide of Large Structure’s Ripple Line Fillet Seams of Automation Welding Equipment System. Highlightly expounded the principle of the entire welding system and double vision monitoring seam tracking system and the control scheme of motion control system. And proposed using the Multi-threaded programming techniques to realize the coordination of inter-systems.Secondly, For the design of the welding system, I realized each part of the design specificly, mainly included: the corresponding architectural design of the double vision monitoring seam tracking system and the clamp mechanism of torch. Designing the welding parameters database to change it by the welding size real-time. And based on CAN bus host to achieve the computer to transmit the welding parameters. The mode of Motion control system is IPC and Motion control card, based on Gugao’s eight-axis motion card, redeveloping to control the torch and the double vision monitoring seam tracking system.Finally, the experimental platform was set up and planned two experiments to verify that the system can well control the torch, the double vision monitoring seam tracking system and the welding power source by the weld informations of computer’s processing. It can be applied to the automatic welding system of Ripple line fillet seams.
