Open Architecture CNC system is the main trend of NC technology,great importance is attached to it by international and domestic manufacturer because of its promising prospect and potential market. By far, the research in this field mainly focused on the computer control system, the application software and etc. Therefore, a great array of research work has been done on the performance of the computer control system abroad and lots of substantive progress has been made. However, we just step into the threshold of this area at home and much work should been disposed still.Based on the concept and architecture of Open Architecture CNC system, system requirement of ELS (electronic guide bar control) is analyzed and develop system general aim and basic functions, that is, the system is an open, flexible, convenient system. According to the analysis, design and implementation of an open-architecture NC system we develop paralleled dual CPU communication mode based on IPC and Windows Operation system that is easy to develop for users.In this dissertation deep research is presented on the control principle and peripheral interfaces of PMAC card and analyze the coordinate and servo control of PMAC.The hardware structure and electric control of this system are based on PMAC using master-slave computer system architecture.It is proved that the ELS Open Architecture CNC system can realize the basic control functions.The digital PID control strategy are investigated in a deep going way and the structure and control capability of the AC servo system are also systematically studied.In addition the system dynamic ability and the stability of the close circuits are also analyzed and debugged. Finally the phenomena in the process of the debugging PID are discussed and the methods are forwarded to insure the system to run safely.Lastly, some test are given to this system and the result in the practice show that the system is steady and mostly meet the need of engineering.
