Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) are composed of inorganic metal ions and organic ligands by coordination bond to form a new-type porous material, and has a great surface, high porosity, the chemical structure. MOFs have a broad application prospect in optical, magnetic, gas adsorption/separation and heterogeneous catalysis. But in the catalytic properties of lighe regulation there are still gaps. This paper studies the catalytic properties of the new In-azo MOFs that azobenzene-4,4’-dicarboxylic acid as a ligand and InCl3·6H2O providing center ions by hydrothermal method successfully synthesized. We have verified the catalytic properties in the Knoevenagel condensation reaction. The contents are divided into the following three parts:1. In this work, we synthesize the In-azo MOFs and its structure, thermal stability and fluorescence properties were characterized by infrared analysis, X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis, various functional chemical related were studied.2. Catalytic of In-azo MOFs for Knoevenagel condensation reaction. In-azo MOFs can catalyze the Knoevenagel condensation reaction effectively in a polar solvent such as ethanol. We also study the mechanism of In-azo MOFs catalyze the Knoevenagel condensation reaction.3. Prelimary exploration of the In-azo MOFs properties of light-control study.
