Hydrodynamic deep drawing is an advanced soft mold forming technology all over the world, the basic principle of HDD used high pressure liquid to instead of the female die, The HDD process has wide application prospect, because of better qualication, lower cost,a higher drawing ratio and so on.In this paper, aimed at the stainless sink, investigations were performed on the effects of the key process parameters by numerical simulations, and forming limit of sink part has been obtained with different process parameters.Now the main job is listed below:(1) The analysis of the technology and mold design were carried on for the sink.(2) During the process of the hydrodynamic deep drawing of the sink, the key process parameters were simulated by the software Dynaform, such as pre-bulging pressure, friction coefficient, the overflow pressure, blank holding gap. The results showed, during the forming process for the sink, it was beneficial to the sink forming if the punch friction coefficient was increased appropriately and the die friction coefficient was decreased appropriately; the quality of the sink could be better if choosing the reasonable path of the hydraulic loading; the sink could be successfully made if choosing the reasonable blank space.(3) The influence of the two processes(the hydrodynamic deep drawing process and the common drawing process)on the sink forming quality and procedure was investigated and analyzed by Forming Limit Diagrams(FLD)and part thickness diagrams as standard. The results show that hydro-mechanical deep drawing has excellent performances under the reasonable chamber pressure loading path. Hydrodynamic deep drawing can more effectively control crack and deforming deficiency, improve the flow uniformity of sheet, the formed sink obtained higher quality.
