This paper is based on some chemical plant Jinzhou 150,000 tons/year styrene joint device as the prototype, and develops styrene semi-physical device control system for Liaoning Petrochemical College of Technology(including Styrene and Fine Styrene section).The system features are: Styrene semi-physical plant is designed and developed, in order to make students finish learning pre-service training and make chemical personnel improve the technical level of the chemical. The device is not set to go to real materials, using class alcohols replace. It can simulate the whole process of production processing authentically. With the continuous development of modern technology, we should not only ensure the normal operation of the plant, but also give full consideration to environmental protection, safety, energy consumption and cost problem. Therefore, it is vital that we develop and design energy-efficient and functional styrene equipment control system. At the same time, it also has well researched value and development prospects. The main work is as follows:Firstly, it describes the project background briefly. It introduces the principle of the production of styrene, and styrene and the coarse and essence of styrene system have carried on the simple introduction from the perspective of technology.the styrene system has carried on the simple introduction from the viewpoint of crafts. According to the requirement of the process, control points are designed, and it lay the foundation for later chapter control design.Secondly, Honeywell system is the current petrochemical mainstream control system. In order to make students achieve the zero docking pre-service. This set of control system uses Honeywell control system. Therefore, the system will be described from two aspects of the software programming and the hardware design.Again, crude styrene system and the essence of styrene system become the key object of study. In view of the tower kettle liquid level control and heat exchanger in the temperature control of nonlinear, big problems, fuzzy PID control scheme is proposed, and conducts the simulation experiment. Simulation results show that the fuzzy PID algorithm has good adaptability and robustness, and the advantages are small overshoot, short settling time and so on.In the end, Liquid level and temperature as the main control objects, and it achieved online monitoring for the system. It will obtain the real-time monitoring data, real-time trend chart, historical data and the alarm information and so on through on-site commissioning.
