The composite material is one of the mainstream of today’s material development, and the composite of dissimilar metal material is a hot research topic in the field of materials. Stainless steel clad plate is a typical kind of dissimilar composite material which has good corrosion resistance of stainless steel and good mechanical properties of low alloy steel. Therefore, in recent years, stainless steel clad plate has been widely used in ocean engineering, nuclear power, petrochemical, high-quality oil and gas pipelines and other high-end industries. In this paper, in order to achieve the research and technology of stainless steel clad plate vacuum rolling after hot rolling microstructure and properties analysis, numerical simulation technology and experiment methods were used for the purpose:First, physics simulation experiment was applied to obtain base material(Q345R) high temperature deformation true stress-strain curves and the constitutive model of materials was established; physical simulation and experimental curves obtained were analyzed to get the material deformation flow stress model, dynamic recrystallization critical strain model and recrystallization nucleation and grain growth model; which would provide the help for the further study of microstructure evolution during hot deformation of materials.Secondly, the stainless steel clad steel with symmetric rolling model was established with 3D modeling software SOLIDWORKS, and based on finite element analysis software DEFORM platform, heat-stress-microstructure three coupled model simulation was established. Through the numerical simulation, the variation of stress field, strain field, temperature field, microstructure field in the process of rolling was studied. The variation of each field was under the influence of different heat forming parameters, and the reasonable thermoforming process parameters were obtained.Finally, the stainless steel vacuum hot –rolled specimens were prepared by vacuum rolling billet technology, and clad plate of stainless steel vacuum hot rolling was experimented according to the above process parameters, then different heat treatment processes were adopted after rolling composite specimens. After cooling, microstructure morphology of composite plate specimens were observed, and the basic mechanical properties, corrosion resistance properties of composite interface can perform analysis and testing.Based on the above analysis of numerical simulation results and experimental results, the reasonable hot forming process and heat treatment process were ultimately determine, which have important guiding significance on the preparation of stainless steel composite board products.
