Self-assembly is a practical technology to form an overall whole spontaneously by different structural units. The technique of supramolecular self-assembly combines the contents of physics, chemistry and material science. Materials which are synthesized by this technique possess excellent physical and chemical properties, they have significant applications in photoelectric materials, biological materials and high-performance separation materials. The ordered molecular films formed by self-assembly at the gas/liquid interface can be used as nano-composite coating, sensitive film, optical material and so on. In this paper, graphene oxide(GO) was prepared through modified Hummers method, we synthesized GO/CS, RGO/CS hydrogel and RGO/CS/Ag nanocomposite hydrogel containing Ag nanoparticles, meanwhile the structure information and application prospect of the hydrogels are analyzed. A novel beta-cyclodextrin derivative(6NH2-beta-CD-CHOL) was designed and synthesized and its assembling behaviors at the gas/liquid interface were studied.Three kinds of hydrogels were prepared by self-assembly between graphene oxide and chitosan. The experimental results show that the three kinds of hydrogels have a three-dimensional porous network structure, while a large number of silver nanoparticles can be observed on the graphene sheet in RGO/CS/Ag hydrogel. The adsorption capacity results demonstrate that the GO/CS and RGO/CS hydrogels showed good adsorption to Rhodamine B, methylene blue and Congo red dye wastewater, the adsorption process is in accordance with the pseudo-second-order. The RGO/CS/Ag composite hydrogel serves as a good photocatalyst for two presently used dyes(Rh B, MB) and light can promote the degradation process. After the treatment, the three kinds of hydrogel can be separated from the wastewater by simple means such as filtration and centrifugation, and can be used as a new type of composite material in water treatment.A new beta-cyclodextrin derivative(6NH2-beta-CD-CHOL) was designed and synthesized. Monolayer and multilayer ordered molecular films were obtained at the gas/liquid interface using molecular self-assembly. Several characterization methodsconfirmed that the azobenzene molecule chain was inserted into the cavity of the 6NH2-beta-CD-CHOL molecule. The technique of LB film was used to study and analysis the properties of the new inclusion compound, and a comparative experiment was carried out at the liquid/solid interface soaking.
