To carry out research of rock burst mechanism and prevention technology in Binchang mining area has important engineering application value. Based on the No.801102 working face, the paper adopts theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field monitoring to study the occurrence mechanism, risk assessment and prevention technology of rock burst. The main conclusions are listed as follows:(1) The paper studies occurrence mechanism and analyzes rules and types of rock burst in the No. 801102 working face. The results show that: the high level of coal seam stress and production technology are main factors of rock burst in the No. 801102 working face, and the type of rock burst is pressure type.(2) The paper completes hazard evaluation and hazard area division of rock burst in the No. 801102 working face. It uses the comprehensive index method to study effect weight of geology and mining factors on the rock burst. The result shows that hazard index of this working face is 0.78 and the dangerous state is a strong probability of rock burst; using FLAC3 D numerical simulation software to simulate stope stress of No. 801102 working face,the paper obtains impact danger zones which are coal pillar, roof and floor of the roadway and the area which is advance 80 m from coal working face.(3) The paper describes the rock burst prediction theory of microseismic method, and analyses microseismic data of No. 801102 working face. The result shows that microseismic activity has regional distribution characteristics. They mainly distribute in mining influence areas and the top and bottom of roadway which is range 45m; before high energy microseismic events are happened, the microseismic activity has a relatively active period. So the predictions can provide the basis for taking treatment measures timely.(4) The paper proposes treatment measures for dangerous areas, and determines parameters of drillhole pressure relief and coal seam water infusion. The result of on-site monitoring indicates that the measures have a good effect and can provide safeguard forproduction.
