With the rapid development of science technology and progress of economy, spatial reticulated shell structure has been developing rapidly at home and abroad. While spatial reticulated shell structure is in outside dynamic loads, it often vibrates with large displacement amplitude, what makes an affectes on the normal use of whole building,even causes a serious damaged. So there are important theoretical significance and engineering application value to study the control theory and engineering application technology on active vibration control of spatial reticulated shell structure.Using the special physical and mechanical performance of GMM (Giant Magnetostrictive Material), this paper has developped an GMM actuator, and Using the two active control methods of modal control and fuzzy control study the numerical simulation on active vibration control of spatial reticulated shell structure under earthquake,receive a lot of conclusions and recommendations.The main contents include:(1) Based on the study of GMM deformation mechanism and its work characteristics, one new actuator will be researched which treats GMM as its core components and combines itself with the features of active vibration control of spatial reticulated structure,in the meanwhile,through the magnetic property test of GMM actuator, the output disciplines of GMM actuator have been summarized,and a current drive model of GMM actuator has been summarized with corresponding test.The consequence demonstrates the preferable applicability of GMM actuator.(2) Both the component of active vibration control system of spatial reticulated shell structure and the setting methods of its related parameters have been analized,and discussed the working principle and process of modal control systems. Based on the modal control analysis of spatial reticulated shell structure, some modal control procedures have been written by MATLAB software to analyze ten modal active vibration control of doubule-sphere spatial reticulated shell structure,and through the analysis of the uncontrolled and controlled of structure under earthquake response, the modal control method for active control of spatial reticulated shell structure has been confirmed effective and feasible.(3) The methods and principles of fuzzy control are researched, the function of each component of fuzzy control systems are discussed.Using the fuzzy logic control toolbox of MATLAB software,a correspond fuzzy controller has been designed,and converted it to be a fuzzy control query chart which convenient for applicative,at the same time ,Using the toolbox of SIMULINK,the analysis systems of vibration structure as uncontrolled and fuzzy controlled have been established to simulate the earthequake response of spatial reticulated shell structure, and finally the online operation of active vibration fuzzy control of spatial reticulated shell structure has been achieved.
