The structure of self-anchored suspension bridge is simple, and beautiful in shape. The main cable of the upper structure is anchored in the main girder, and is not restricted by terrain and geological conditions during the construction, so the structure of self-anchored suspension bridge is getting more and more application in the modern bridges construction. This dissertation takes the self-anchored suspension bridge with single tower which is situated on the Dongying road of Yunxi county, in Shiyan city, Hubei province as an engineering background, to study the method and technology of construction control of self-anchored suspension bridges with single tower. The main research contents are as follows:Firstly, to research the calculation theory and method of construction control of self-anchored suspension bridge with single tower. After different calculation theories of main cable are analyzed, the finite displacement theory and segmental catenary method are accurate when they are used to the construction control calculation of self-anchored suspension bridges with single tower. At the same time the structure nonlinear problem and the solution of the nonlinear equations are analyzed and discussed.Secondly, to establish a calculation model of construction control of self-anchored suspension bridge with single tower, to accurately simulate every construction stage during the construction of self-anchored suspension bridge with single tower. Based on the principle of the constant unstressed length, the dissertation analyses and calculates the unstressed length of main cable, the initial state of cable, the unstressed length of hangers, and the installation positions of cable clamps, etc.Thirdly, to research the optimization method of hangers force and the control method of hangers tension of self-anchored suspension bridge with single tower. Based on the control theory and the optimization principle of hangers force, this dissertation optimizes the force and tension sequence of hangers.Fourthly, to establish a perfect monitoring system of self-anchored suspension bridge with single tower to control construction process effectively. To achieve the ideal control objective and state, and to ensure the safety of the bridge, the alignment monitoring, hangers force monitoring and stress monitoring have been applied into the construction site of Dongying road bridge, collecting monitoring data and information, analyzing the results of monitoring, adjusting the parameters of the finite element model, and controlling the bridge structure state effectively.
