Based on the design project of a single-tower self-anchored suspension bridge with the span of 35+137+248+35 m, this thesis builts up an integrated finite element model of the whole bridge to analyse the problems of structural shape under finished bridge state, static behavior, dynamic behavior and stability. At first, the main cables' shape and the forces of all the members under finished bridge state are computed and analysed. Then the structural behaviors under the live load, temperature load, wind load and settlement of foundation. And the structural deflection and behaviors are computed according to the most disadvantageous combination of the above loads. Free-vibration characteristic is computed. Seismic response is analysed by means of the response spectrum analysis and the time history analysis. At last, the elastic stability under finished bridge state and operation stage is calculated and anaylsed. Therefore, the static, dynamic behaviors, stability and analysis method of self-anchored suspension bridge are comprehensively understood.
