With the development of the society and the progress of technology, the speed of thecar become faster. considering the complex road conditions, traditional break systemmight be difficult to meet the need of this situation. In the process of braking, ABS getthe speed of each wheel by wheel speed sensor, after analyzes the speed of wheels, ABScontrol the pressure of brake wheel cylinder by valves to prevent the wheels locked, andKeep the wheel slip ratio in the scope between which break force might be optimal. ABScan effectively shorten braking distance, improve vehicle’s stability during braking.Considering above reasons, ABS is widely used and keep in growing trend.In the process of development, matching and troubleshooting, we needs a largenumber of experiments. Real vehicle experiment results are accurate, but it’s shortcomingis also evident, Real vehicle experiment need more money and more time, there are alsosome risk during real vehicle experiment. If we don’t care accuracy of ABS control,bench test can save money greatly, and improve the efficiency of experiments evidently.At the same time bench test is flexible, it can create some condition that real vehicleexperiment can’t accomplish.This thesis analyzes the domestic and foreign development present situation of ABStest-bed, and the research of some university on it. Developed a simple and portable ABSsimulation system. This paper takes the vehicle installed wheel cylinder pressure sensoras platform.5degrees of freedom vehicle dynamical model suitable for ABS have beenset up. Combined with tire model have a simulation with emergency braking process.When brake pedal has been pushed, simulation system start to work, MCU collectcylinder pressure periodically, simulate vehicle speed, then convert vehicle speed intosquare wave signal and send it to ABS. Which stimulate ABS to adjust wheel cylinderpressure. Then, communication system is built to control simulation system and showsimulation result, set the parameters of the simulation model through PC, and diagnose orcontrol the ABS.Compared the simulation results with the real vehicle ABS test, to check the reliability of the simulation system. The simulation system can make sure themodification of vehicle used for match test is correct. At the same time the simulationsystem also have great significance for the study of ABS.
