The strengthening system of direct shear bolting platehas showed goodeffect innormal section flexural reinforcement and oblique section shear tests. Based on thesetwo tests, the strengthening system greatly improved the bearing capacity of thespecimens, greatly enhanced the steel strip resistance, effectively restrain thedevelopment of crack and significantly improve the mechanical performance ofreinforced specimens. Strengthening system was able to show the outstandingperformance, mainly because of the method by means of ingenious and to make side ofthe anchor rod and steel drilling of close contact, to ensure that the anchor bolt group tocollaborative force, prompting strengthening system to work collaboratively with wholestructure, to get the most out of steel plate and anchor bolt material performance.As we can see from the current researchesonshear capacity of reinforced concretebeams strengthenedboth domestic and overseas,there were a lot of good results, butthose technologies also have different defects, so those methods need to be improvedand expanded.This article will analyze and discuss the way ofshear capacity ofreinforced concrete beams strengthened, using strengthening system of direct shearbolting plateon the lateral of reinforced concrete beam,through the nonlinear finiteelement analysis with ABAQUSand experimental research, verify the performanceofshear strengthening, discuss the factors influencing the effect of strengthening, stressmechanism.The method of using direct shear type anchor steel strengthening system for shearstrengthening on the lateral of reinforced concrete beam is feasible, the effect is verysignificant, the bearing capacity has been increased largely in different degree, testresults and regularity are in good agreement with finite element numerical simulation.The strengthening method can effectively avoid the stripping phenomenon because oftraditional ways of pasting fiber reinforce plastic or anchor stick steel plate hoop at thetime of damage, and the strengthening technology is economic, the construction issimple and convenient, and little influence on the appearance of the strengthened beam.What is more, compared with the traditional ways of pasting fiber reinforce plastic oranchor stick steel plate hoop, the new strengthening technology possesses fire resistance tosome extent.Nonlinear numerical simulation and experimental study showed that the number of anchor bolt are the primary factors influencing the strengthening effect, whenstrengthening design, should first consider the number of anchor bolt and enhancementof steel anchor bolt, strengthen on the constraint of concrete bystrengthening system,make full use of the material strength of the steel plate and concrete, thus whenincreasing the plate size, should increasing the number of anchor bolt to increase thecovering andrestraining range ofthe lateral of reinforced concrete beam with thestrengthening system. The strengthening system of direct shear bolting plate caneffectively restrain the development of the cracks, improve the load when stirrup stressincrease sharply, delay the development of the stirrup stress and strain, increasingshearcontribution of stirrup in the reinforced concrete beam. At the same time, thestrengthening system can significantly improve the shear stiffness of reinforced concretebeam and the mechanical performance of reinforced components.Through the analysis,the shear contribution of strengthening system of direct shear bolting plate mainly dividesinto two parts: first,the strengthening system work collaboratively to directly participatein resisting shear, passing plane shear; second, the concrete of strengthening regionalhas been restrainedby strengthening system, and the strengthening system canstrengthen compressive strength and deformation capacity of web member in thetruss-arch model.Finally, according to the problemsand resultin the process of nonlinear numericalsimulation analysis and experimental study,this article put forward some suggestion andideas for follow-up research.
