ECGsignal is an important basis for diagnosing the cardiovascular disease, so the importantphysiological information of ECG and other for remote monitoring is very important.Inmodern medicine, monitoring vital signs of human body with the ECG monitorin realtimecan be timely understand the status of the heart, and provide scientific basis forprevention and treatment of disease. With the development of communicationtechnology and computer technology, the portable ECG monitor for individual andfamily arises at the historic moment.Based on the laboratory project--the new portable ECG monitoring system basedon ‘electronic skin’, we research the Portable ECG Receiving Device based on ARM.The system adopts the design idea of modular, adopting Samsung’s S3C2440asembedded processor, and the paper designs other peripheral circuit, such as A/Dconversion, LCD display, SD card storage, GPRS transmission. The receiving deviceinternal A/D module can make the signal from ECG acquisition system analog-to-digitalconversion. After sampling, data is stored to the internal register. Then reading the valueof the register and showing it on3.5inch LCD of Dong Hua, and data will be alsostored in the8G SD card of Kingston. Through the GPRS module can be transmitremote data to the hospital’s monitoring platform, it can also sent text message for helpto the designated mobile phone.
