In the nature environment, Hollow Concrete Pier bridge structure was long-termsuffered from all kinds of complicated environmental conditions, which make thestructure get the nonlinear load change over time and produce temperature effect. Insome cases, the temperature effect even larger than the effect of other load, which makeconcrete hollow bridge structure slotted and damaged to affect the safety of structure.Therefore, the research is very necessary that analys temperature load and temperatureeffect of the Hollow Concrete Pier structure and to control the safety of the bridgestructure.This paper mainly based on the scientific research project" The Design ofTechnology Research on High Hollow Pier Sructrure of Mountain High-speed RailwayBridges ",which regards the construction of Guiguang line Xingfuyuan reservoirbridgeas the project background,selecting the12#pier as the research object, in view of solarand cold wave temperature field and temperature effect on the concrete hollow boxsection bridge piers to systemly analys and research. The main research work andconclusions are as follows:This paper mainly adopts the field measurement and numerical simulation,numerical calculation and theoretical analysis research methods.Through the regressionanalysis of field measurement date,fitted the solar and cold wave temperature gradientmode on Hollow Pier of Guilin Guangxi.It uses large-scale finite element softwareANSYS to establish finite element model of piers to numerical simulate temperaturefield;contrasting the measured data with simulated data, adjusting the parametercalculation, simulating the temperature effect of piers through the numerical calculation.Temperature field changing is uniform along the direction of high bridge pier byanalyzing the measured date,so we can use2D plane replace the3D plane temperaturefield to calculate the temperature field;Though persistent observation on solar and coldwave temperature field of Xingfuyuan reservoir bridge12#pier, fitted the solar andcold wave temperature field gradient mode of the Pier in Guilin Guanxi Area by usingthe least squares;Using ANSYS and the third kind of boundary condition to simulate theconcrete box section bridge hollow pier solar temperature field and temperature effect isaccuratly and reliable,the maximum compressive stress is5.99Mpa, the tensile stress is2.24Mpa, the maximum displacement is6.081mm on Pier top;Using ANSYS and the first kind of boundary condition to simulate the concrete box section bridge hollow piercold wave temperature field and temperature effect is accuratly and reliable,the tensilestress is4.66Mpa,which is over the tensile stress of C40concrete;With the finiteelement analysis of the bridge pier cold wave temperature effect under the different coldsnap cooling values,when the cold wave temperature difference is5℃between insideand outside of pier walls, the tensile stress increases of outside wall of bridge pieraround2.0MPa,the compressive stress growth inside wall of bridge pier is1.1MPa/5℃along the direction of bridge,the direction of transverse of bridge pier is0.3MPa/5℃.
