As a developing country, China owns abundant energy resources, but the per capitaoccupancy volume is low. Along with people to excessive mining of fossil energy caused thetraditional fuel is increasing exhausted and the environment pollution is continuously serious.Recently, there has been much attention to the development and use of clean energy, China has arich resource of solar energy, creating a favorable condition for effective use of solar heating. Inthe solar thermal storage system, with the help of heat storage water tank to adjust the problemof periodicity and randomness.This paper described the work principle, design principle and theoretical basis oftemperature-difference type solar energy water distribution system, improved the traditional heatstorage water tank, pulsing a new water distributor at the inlet and outlet of the water tank, at thesame time adding diversion trench in the internal of water tank. Without increasing the height ofthe tank, water tank can also achieve horizontal temperature partition and vertical temperaturestratification, then improve the efficiency of the high temperature water. A combination of fluentsimulation and experimental method was used, to study the changes of dimension, installationposition and count of diversion trench, cold-filled with hot water、hot-filled with hot water,cyclic heating, cold-filled with hot water using hot of four operating conditions,temperature-difference type solar energy water distribution system is compared to traditionalwater distribution system. Relying on a construction project to set the engineering applicationscollector selection, installation requirements, tank volume, insulation and other main parameters.This construction project is Jin Ye Jia Yuan, located in Caiyu square of Changchun City,province of Jilin.The analysis shows that plusing a new diffuser at the inlet and outlet can effectively reducethe cold-hot water mixed degree; if the inner diversion trench of water distribution system’squantity is more and the size is larger, the temperature stratification of water tank becomes moreobvious. And under normal circumstances, in the engineering four diversion trench should meetthe requirement. Study on the position of diversion trench which the heat-collecting effect the Stype of vertical flow is better than the S type of horizontal flow, the S type of horizontal flowmixing water state is unstable, but it has a higher efficiency compared with the heat storage oftraditional water distribution system.With the help of the CFD software we build a numerical model of heat storage tank, bysimplifying the geometry and meshing, then select the boundary conditions and set the calculation, conduct the numerical simulation of four common conditions of the storage tank.The simulation result is intuitively clear, and is consistent with the experimental result, verifythe accuracy of the simulation, but also provides the basis for the same kinds of experiments ofthree-dimensional.
