In order to ensure the accuracy and safety of the aircraft flight, it is necessary to measure theatmospheric data around the aircraft accurately. The system which measures the air data must haverelatively high atmosphere data measurement accuracy and good environmental adaptability. And theflush air data sensing (FADS) system will have the ability, so it is necessary to study the FADSsystem to find engineering value.The contents of FADS are discussed systematically in this thesis first. They are aerodynamicmodels, solution algorithm of atmospheric data and parameter calibration method. Then the basictheory of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is discussed in order to calculate the layout of thepressure ports. After calculating the pressures, the results of numerical simulation of the sphericalFADS system’s parameters calibration are given.Neural network model has a strong nonlinear processing function. It could be used to create theaerodynamic model of the FADS system. The most mature network of neural networks is BP network.It is also called error back propagation method. After measure pressure values, the neural networkmodels would be constructed through different positions and combinations. Three calculating modelsare established which are based on different pressure orifices. They are three-orifice model,four-orifice model and five-orifice model. Comparing the results of calculating models with the realvalues, the results show that the four-orifice model achieves the best compute accuracy.
