In the active vibration control system, which is used on the helicopter, the actuator, as theimplementation of components is one of the core components. The actuator, which is used on thehelicopter, includes: the hydraulic actuator, the electromagnetic actuator and the centrifugal actuator.Among them, the centrifugal actuator has access to the application on the helicopter, such as UH-60M,S-92, as it has some advantages, including large frequency bandwidth、large output、compact size、light weight、less power and so on. However, domestic research on this is blank. This paper studied onthe key technology of centrifugal actuator, including analysis of its working principles、establishmentof its control algorithm and test validation through the principle prototype. The major study is onprinciple prototype of the centrifugal actuator and the control algorithm of it. The main researchcontents of this article include:(1)After full analysis of centrifugal actuator system composition and working principle, the paperdeduced its subsystem consisting of transfer function and established its motor/load dynamic analysismodel. On this base, the article proposed two kinds of the centrifugal actuator control algorithms.Using Matlab/Simulink finished the simulation of three factor (amplitude、phase and frequency) ofthe output of the centrifugal actuator. When the preliminary verification of the correctness andeffectiveness of the control algorithms was done, it analyzed the influence of the key parameters onactuator control.(2)The paper made the original centrifugal actuator test system for a preliminary project,including measuring and control system、the original centrifugal actuator and the test platform. Thedesign and design process of original centrifugal actuator was given. On the context of the controlalgorithms, using Matlab RTW and Simulink generated the control code. On the basis of the code,using CCS modified the object code, so that it can be used for experimental study.(3)The article finished the experimental study on the phase control of the centrifugal actuator inthe developing original centrifugal actuator test system. The result demonstrated that the proposedcontrol algorithms of the phase control were effective.
