Catapult launch of carrier-based aircraft is one of the most commom way of carrier-based aircrafttake-off in sea combat. Then analysis on the safety factors and design the criteria are the essential partof catapult launch technology research.This paper mainly focuses on the research on the safety factorsof catapult launch and the design method of safety criteria, and at last, design the control strategy ofaircraft carrier catapult take-off and simulate the system.Firstly, the carrier-based aircraft catapult launch system model is established, includingcarrier-based aircraft dynamics and kinematics model, landing gear model and catapult model.Themathematical model of carrier-based aircraft catapult launch process is established, through analysison the dynamics and kinematics of carrier-based aircraft catapult launch taxiing stage.Simulateverificate the model referring to the data of F/A-18carrier-based aircraft and C-13-1catapult.Secondly, analyze the environmental factors in the carrier-based aircraft catapult launch process,mainly focuses on the effects of deck motion and bow airflow on carrier-based aircraft catapultlaunch.The deck motion used in this chapter include deterministic model combined by sine wave andlinear model based on Conolly theory. Study different phases and oceanic condition of deck motioneffect on carrier-based aircraft catapult launch. The bow airflow and deck wind models are establishedthrough the numerical simulation of flow field around the ship bow using fluid mechanics softwareFLUENT. Study the effects of bow airflow and deck wind on carrier-based aircraft catapult launchunder different ship speed.Thirdly, analyze other factors influencing the safety of carrier-based aircraft catapult launch.Depict the existing safety criteria of carrier-based aircraft catapult launch in detail. Recommend aminimum ejection velocity as a catapult recommended criteria. Then, design this minimum ejectionvelocity through a lot of simulation.Finally, propose two kinds of carrier-based aircraft catapult launch control strategies. Thenprovide a collectivity structure diagram of carrier-based aircraft flight control system, design andsimulate the carrier-based aircraft flight control law of different control strategies with a classicmethod. At last, analyze and compare with the simulation results of two control strategies under theenvironmental impact.
