| The traditional hydraulic control valve control the size of gap to change the pressure andrate of hydraulic circuit, and consists of mobile mechanical parts. The structure of traditionalhydraulic control valve is complicated, and difficult to realize intelligent control. But theintelligent hydraulic control valve, which use Smart Fluids as medium, is a good way tosolving the defect. Because of the unique advantages of Magneto-rheological Fluid(MRF), themagneto-rheological(MR) valve becomes a main research direction in intelligent hydrauliccontrol valve.MRF is one of Smart Fuilds, which flow property can be changed by magnetic field.Based on rheological effect of MRF, MR valve work. At present the damping gap thickness ofMR valve is stable. The article design a structure of MR valve with adjustable damping gap.This article have four main contents.1. This article gives out the structure of MR valve with adjustable damping gap, and theprinciple is described. The material of each component is gived out. And the magnetic circuitof MR valve is checked, according to Ohm’s Law.2. According to the Bingham Model of MRF, the pressure drop of MR valve isestablished.3. Considing the nonlinear property and magnetic saturation of material, the MR valve’smagnetic field is simulated by ANSYS. And the effection of key dimensions on MR valve’sperformance is researched.4. The testing system of MR valve is established based on virtual instrument technology.The performance of MR valve with adjustable damping gap, is tested by the testing system,and the rationality of it is verified. |
