With the rapid development of our country’s economy in recent years, due to the uniqueadvantages of continuous steel structure bridge, its application in highway construction isbecoming more and more widely. For continuous steel structure bridge, the process of zeroblocks’ construction is very important, which has the characteristics of large number of usage,complicated structure, and especially the cracks caused by hydration heat temperature effectwith the use of strong concrete. Therefore, it’s meaningful to research on the zero blocktemperature stress of continuous steel structure bridge.This paper through collecting a large number of literatures. It summarized thecharacteristics of mass concrete and the zero block and the current research status of massconcrete temperature stress. Additionly, the basic theory of concrete temperature stressanalysis, calculation method is introduced.Zero block is mass concrete, due to the large temperature difference between inside andoutside,it is likely to lead to temperature cracks.. Taking LuoHe Bridge as the engineeringexample, this paper applies simulation analysis on zero block by ansys software to get itstemperature field distribution, and summarizes the curve of temperature development inconstruction process and the rule of temperature field distribution. Finally, preventive andtreatment measures of temperature cracks are put forward.
