| LDWS plays a more and more important role in road traffic safety.It is an importantsafety assist system.The most important step of LDWS is the detection of lane lines.And thechoice of binarization threshold is of vital importance. In this paper,the influence ofilluminance to the threshold is discussed.The hardware platform is DM6437EVM.And it is the core of the imageprocessing module. The program is burned into the flash of the board and then the system canwork offine. An illuminance transducer is introduced into the LDWS to research on theinfluence of the illuminance to the binarization threshold. It communicates with51MCUthough I2C.And the illuminance data is sent to the DM6437,the value of the illuminance isshowed on the1602LCD for test.In this paper,the gray scale contrast of the road image is enhanced and the influence ofthe illuminance to the threshold is discussed.By test,we researched on the change rule of thethreshold with the change of the illuminance and analyzed the relationship betweenillumination and threshold.According to the characteristic of threshold image,we chose aproper lane line detection algorithm and extracted the lane line successfully.On the base ofprevious LDWS,the lane angle method is used to increase the sensitivity of lane departurewarning.The real time property of LDWS is improved.By vehicle road test,a lot of tests were done to verify the system algorithm. Illuminationis divided into different intervals,including high illumination,common illumination and lowillumination,the relationship between illumination and threshold is summarised,and thestability of the LDWS is improved in different illumination conditions. |
