Lightweight and movale low-rise buildings has been widely used in disaster relief,temporary housing and the army camp, etc. Since the light and flexible builds arrange ingroups, wind load is control load. However the current study is focused on isolated build,there is little group research. So discussing the wind pressure and interference coefficient ofthe buildings can provide theory for temporary site planning, decrease of interferencecoefficient and building design. This paper mainly uses the method of numerical simulationto study the characteristics of surface wind pressure and wind environment aroundlightweight and movale gable roof buildings. The results can be used for practicalengineering application, and also provide reference basis for low-rise buildings design.Although the numerical simulation study on surface wind pressure of low-rise buildingshas certain progress, its rationality and accuracy need to be discussed because of wideresearch scope, more parameters and large amount of calculation. This paper firstly introducea foreign wind tunnel test of low-rise buildings. Though the cube models in the test, itexplains the process of CFD numerical simulation and obtain reasonable calculationparameters including modeling, calculation domain selection, meshing and setting boundarycondition, as well as the turbulence model and discretization method selection. The results of4wording conditions of numerical simulation can fit well with wind tunnel test and it isfeasible to the study of low-rise buildings.On this basis, this paper studies lightweight and movale gable roof buildings in regularlayout considering factors of different wind adgels, spacing B, area density CA, upsteambuilding distance Lfetch, etc. It conduct15wording conditions and get the characteristics ofsurface wind pressure and wind environment. The influence of the factors to the average andpeak wind pressure coefficient is analyzed, and it puts forward interference coefficient andsuggestions of structural safety and pedestrian comfort.
