With the rapid development of information technology, the control codes in productsgrows with an explosive trend. The rapid expansion of the amount of code makes thetraditional manual programming mode face many difficulties, such as the productdevelopment cycle extended, products development costs doubled and the product reliabilityreduced. In order to meet the needs of today’s scientific and technological development,MBD (Model-Based Design) techniques was born in the20th century, the mid-1990s. Within10years development, MBD techniques has been widely accepted. This thesis use PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) as the research object, implementation the space vector control system for PMSM by MBD techniques. First, fromthe background and significance of the research, expounds the basic process of MBDapproach. Second, based on the analysis of the principle of space vector control, thesimulation model of space vector control for PMSM was built with MATLAB/SimulinkEmbedded Coder toolbox, and the performance of the speed control system is simulated. After verifying the correctness of the simulation model, the fixed-point code model was builtfor the control system and the control interface was designed by MATLAB GUI(graphic userinterface). Finally, used the fixed-point code model to generate C code automatically, and thegenerated C code was debugged in the designed hardware test platform debugging, theexperimental results shows that the space vector control system for PMSM implemented byMBD technique has good dynamic response performance. The work in this paper can promote the development of MBD in the filed of motorcontrol.
